Ishu is the captain of the international postal airship, the Zanbani.
Appearance[]
Ishu is a tall woman with fair skin, green eyes, and dark blue hair tied with a yellow ribbon. She is usually seen wearing a lavender crop-top with diaphanous sleeves, a red sash over black skin-tight shorts, and tall brown boots. She can also be seen with a long, green jacket at times and glasses, which she at one point blames on her age.
Personality[]
Ishu is incredibly strong willed, independent, and prone to anger.
History[]
A younger Ishu, moments before punishing Nakiami
Five years ago, after Ahm found and saved Nakiami and Raigyo Tsunomata from turning into stone, Ishu became very angry with Nakiami, slapping the girl repeatedly. Despite her anger, however, she allowed Raigyo to stay on the Zanbani for three years before he left to travel the world.
Biography[]
Ishu is first seen reading a passage from an unknown book in her room aboard the Zanbani. After she casually looks out her window with her binoculars, she spots over twenty government inquiry ships and immediately tells Ahm to check the radar. After messaging the ships and receiving no response, she orders Ahm to find a nearby dock to land and orders Akushiba to wake up Nakiami so that she can scout ahead. Once Nakiami wants to take a closer look at Sentan Island, however, Ishu quickly becomes angry and orders her not to go, but Nakiami goes anyway.
Later, she is shown waiting for Nakiami on the docks of Sentan Island, fuming and impatient due to her absence. It is only when Hinokimaru points out Nakiami's return does Ishu show signs of relief and calming down. This doesn't last, however, as she is quick to later threaten throwing Akushiba off the Zanbani in order to lighten the load.
The following day, Nakiami visits Ishu during breakfast and pleads with her to allow Akiyuki Takehara to stay with them. Ishu then warns her that no matter how much she supports him, he will turn to stone in the end. After their meeting, Akiyuki arrives and begs Ishu to take him back to Sentan Island, but she refuses, claiming he has shown no gratitude towards Nakiami for saving his life. This angers Akiyuki and, in his anger, he awakens his Hiruko, which almost immediately attracts the attention of a Humanform. Ishu quickly heads towards the cockpit and it is there she learns that the Humanform has captured Akiyuki. She then grabs her rocket launcher and heads to the deck of the ship. After Nakiami saves Akiyuki and they are out of harm's reach, she shoots the Humanform down, killing it.

Nakiami[]
Nakiami's relationship with Ishu can be described as rocky, at best. Ishu appears to have no issue insulting Nakimai, calling her a 'bitch' or an 'attention whore.' She has even been shown to get physical with Nakiami, slapping her repeatedly for disobeying orders. Ishu, however, has shown great remorse for whenever she hurts Nakiami, resorting to getting herself drunk and smoking in order to cope.
